Right. I've never had any problems with text modes and WC on any of my machines, and you're the first person I've heard of that has. I'd better put a warning about that in GVFM's README.TXT.

Ok, thanks for the tip. I'll try "write protected" first - seems the more logical to me, since it's supposed to be ROM?
