I don't subscribe to such a defeatist attitude

Personally I find the suggestion I wouldn't change
my mind in light of superior evidence/argument to
be insulting.

If someone can lay out the logic that shows that
unless there are 100 million lines of GPL v3 code
written by 2025 or else Earth will explode, I'll
start writing GPL v3 code today. I won't even wait
until tomorrow. I just haven't seen such a
convincing argument laid out.

On top of that, most of the debate in this thread
has simply been clarification/correction rather
than even a difference of opinion.

BTW, I incorrectly said "red herring" when I
meant "straw man". Apologies for that.
