Well, that has some obvious advantages but some disadvantages too. For one, FPC is free/libre (unlike TP7). And it is (apparently) very powerful. But it would require a 386+ and would eat more RAM (although be able to use more RAM, too). As is, it runs supposedly runs on a 286 and only uses conventional memory. (Oh, and FPC will bloat up the .EXEs quite a bit more.) I mean, I know that's small potatoes to most people, just saying that it IS a tradeoff, even if slightly unimportant "these days".
