I spotted that a C++ (OSX) based Mach-O file viewer now exists on SourceForge
http://sourceforge.net/projects/machoview/ the project was registered on 15-July-2010.

From following his blog ( http://trixter.wordpress.com/ ) I noted a few months back that he started a busy new job. He has also been busy with Mind Candy 3.

Lol, somehow I think that will only happen when hell freezes over ;)

FYI, presently I still own several 8086's, 80186's, 286 etc. Long term I'm considering my options with regards to donating to a museum or similar. You can't beat real hardware. Unfortunately at this present time I'm not setup to test stuff easily or to put it another way most of my kit is in storage and I simply I haven't had a chance to set myself up again with my multiple switch box etc. But I plan to have a test rack of some sorts again where I can literally quickly test stuff with a 8086, 80186, 286, 386 etc.
