MPXplay under CWSDPMI (Users)

No, no, no. It is misunderstanding.

The incompatibility between TSR loaded cwsdpmi and mpxplay is specific for mpxplay. All other DOS4GW or DOS4G applications are NOT affected.
As Attila said it most probably has something to do with DLL modules loading.

So - there are no realmode check required. It wouldbe enough make such check in protected mode but before DLL initialization.

However I still think it could be fixed to work peacefully with cwsdpmi. HDPMI32 has similar design (ok, with some extensions) and I doubt it has something to do with its extended API.
