There is "SwsSockSrc211.zip\SwsSockSrc\LIBS\sws_cfg.c" 22'433 2010-07-19 file apparently searching for "SWS_SOCK.INI" everywhere (path ? commandline ?) and reading the stuff and storing it (cleaned-up ?) into memory. So the solution could be to drop this file, and instead pick the stuff (3 hot lines cca ?) "on your own" from MPXPLAY.INI or WATTTCP.CFG or finally "SWS_SOCK.INI", as you already have some INI-file parsing code anyway.

BTW, seems to be very nice and well documented code, thanks to Lawrence Rust

nevertheless I'm not an expert on C nor on this soccer&socks stuff
