32-bit MSDOS (Announce)

posted by kerravon E-mail, Ligao, Free World North, 04.07.2021, 05:43

Another thing to note is that this technique
effectively introduces new reserved words into
the Pascal language - fwrite, printf etc.

So it's presumably not 100% Pascal83-0 compliant
and requires a subset of even that. Well, right
at the moment it is down to a subset that is
just writeln(), but I would hope that other
Pascal83-0 stuff could be supported when I find
out what it actually is. The language itself is
already covered (other than the new reserved
words), but it's not clear to me yet what the
limits of the C90-based runtime are.

Maybe I can only support I/O checks done
immediately after a file access attempt, or
something like that.

BFN. Paul.
