I'm not sure why you made the above comment in
relation to the above quote. The above quote
was for Pascal-derived executables, not PDOS.

But regardless, yes, I do have a requirement
for PDOS/386 to be decoupled from the BIOS,
and turn into PDOS-generic.

Bochs/Qemu doesn't run at native speed.

VirtualBox requires privilege I think.

I wish to run PDOS in environments such as
AmigaOS where I have no access to address 4
(it was going through the motions of an
Amiga port where PDOS-generic was conceived,
thanks to the assistance of an Amiga forum,
about 6-12 months ago).

I wish to run PDOS-generic (with FAT disks)
under both PDOS/3X0 (which only supports CKD
disks), as well as under z/OS (where I won't
be authorized, so can't do SVCs (equivalent
of INT)).
