What will it actually solve? Solution in search of a problem actually. You still have a C<->Pascal interface.

For one system, the whole "hundred compilers" and portability aspects are bogus.

Of course you can go that way, but you only need to rewrite a lot of RTL functions for kernel32 stuff and diverge unnecessary.
