This is a problem with DIR itself: it does an SFN find, then converts the short to long, so DOSLFN has to find it again. Still, about 1.5 minutes seems excessive. Here's another set of binaries with the cache enabled (it was disabled because it doesn't detect disc changes and didn't seem to impact performance).
