if you want a system with fast file transfer, you should measure file tranfer with hundreds of different settings.

currently you are mostly measuring the performance of "translate SFN to LFN".

sure, if you want the best possible performance of

C:>DIR G:\ > NUL

continue with your efforts. but otherwise, your efforts are kind of wasted time...
